About DVD
DVD or “Digital Versatile Disc” provides superb video, audio and data storage – all on a single disc! Since the introduction of the DVD player in 1996, it has become the fastest selling consumer device of all time, surpassing VHS and CD players by a huge margin. A DVD has two sides, each of which can contain two layers. Each layer will allow up to approximately two hours of MPEG-2 video.
DVD Replication
We are able to handle all your DVD replication needs from start to finish. The following DVD capabilities are available:
- 4.7 GB (single layer/single side) known as DVD-5
- 8.5 GB (dual layer/single side) known as DVD-9
- 9.4 GB (single layer/double side) known as DVD-10
For short runs and quick turnaround times, we offer DVD-R 4.7 GB duplication on General Media, the most common recordable format for DVD.
